The company was founded by Kim and Fabian, who previously graduated in logistics from Östra Nylands Yrkeskola. Afterward, they served in the military and trained as motor non-commissioned officers. Kim and Fabian have had experience in the world of vehicles since a young age, including trucks, combinations, wheel loaders, and machinery, both in Finland and abroad. After extensive planning, they took action and founded a company together where professional pride and work quality are paramount. Language proficiency is also a strength that helps us operate globally.

I have had the honor of being born into a family of transportation entrepreneurs. Following in my grandfather’s footsteps, I have spent my life working with machines and equipment. My childhood and youth were spent in the workshop under the guidance of my uncles, with hands covered in grease. These lessons have been repeated for over 50 years. During my teenage years, I gained experience in warehouse and factory work at the local ice cream factory. My career choice was solidified with studies as a transport and logistics technician in Porvoo. After that, I started driving with ready-mix concrete transport until the military service called. The state’s transport sector rewarded me with all necessary driving rights and training as a motor non-commissioned officer. Upon returning to civilian life in 1993, I headed straight to Germany to drive a truck all over Europe. The Hotel Volvo became familiar. At the turn of the millennium, the focus shifted to the home front. My grandfather’s passing in 2002 transferred responsibilities, and the 30-year-old young man had big shoes to fill. Business responsibility and pressure became familiar on the administrative side. We continue along this path and work on it.
In the early 2000s, I started working as a wheel loader and heavy equipment operator while studying logistics. Gradually, I transitioned to driving trucks for earthmoving with Sisu vehicles. Then came the call to the army, and the resourceful infantryman Brunberg was sent to the motor non-commissioned officer school. After the military service, I switched to driving combination transports and worked for Oy R.Sjöholm Ab for 6 years, handling trailers, modules, concrete, cranes, and distribution vehicles. Alongside, I also performed vehicle maintenance and repairs. I took a break from driving when I became an entrepreneur. During that time, my focus shifted to working as a security guard and tree felling, but I also traveled across Europe to install screw piles. Together with Kim Sjöholm, we gradually began to contemplate our options and realized that, in addition to our long-standing friendship, we shared very similar views and ideas about what we could and wanted to offer. This led to the founding of Oy SöBe Group Ab, a transportation company where solid expertise, professional pride, and quality are key factors.
